Welfare Work.
Ramakrishna Math, Puri conducts Welfare work by way of distribution of lemonade, medicines, clothing, blankets, etc to the poor and needy persons in and around Puri. Some events may be mentioned here.
1. Ration kit Distribution to physically challenged persons, distressed widows and poor patients, each kit containing rice 10 kg, dal 1 kg, atta 5 kg, salt 1 kg, coconut oil and soap.
2. Educational kit distribution to the school students by giving them pen, exercise book, writing pads, books on value education and character building.
3. Pecuniary help for treatment of poor patients and study of meritorious students from needy family.

Dispensary.
We have one allopathic dispensary within the campus of our Math. Each day except Sunday it is open for poor patients. We treat them free of cost with good doctors and adequate medicines. Moreover, we have one mobile medical unit for treating poor patients of five villages - four villages twice a month, one village once a month. We have experienced doctors, one pharmacist and one monastic in-charge to treat with care.
Vocational training center.
A vocational training centre: In the Math campus we have a tailoring training centre where an expert teaches the art of cutting, sewing and stitching to the local needy women who by one year can achieve the aptitude of making some ladies' garments along with stitching etc.
In the current year, i.e. 2023-2024, the no. of trainees is 18. Our Math donates sewing machines to the poor and needy trainees after completion of the training for the sake of women- empowerment in our society.
